- I. About ISA v.1.0 Trial
- ========================
-
- ParallelGraphics Internet Scene Assembler (ISA) enables you to
- build interactive VRML scenes. Use ISA to add the objects to the
- static scenes, to animate them and specify how the objects will
- interact between themselves and the user. The developed scene may
- be published on the World Wide Web. Anyone can visit and
- experience your 3D Web site using standard VRML97 browsers.
-
- ISA includes features that help you work conveniently and quickly.
- Take a look at ISA's capabilities:
-
- - VRML97 compliance: you can import and export scenes and objects
- in VRML 97 format as well as view created scenes in all major
- VRML browsers.
-
- - ISA imports VRML 97 files and VCD files (Internet Space Builder
- objects). Writes highly compact VRML files using gzip compression.
-
- - ISA comes with a library of 3D models and sample 3D scenes to
- help you quickly create rich environments. The Object gallery
- also includes special group of System objects, that let the user
- click objects to specify some sort of behavior (for example,
- turning on a light or opening a door as a result of click to an
- object).
-
- - The ability for animation to change an object position and
- orientation over time.
-
- - Manipulating with objects both in the Perspective View and Plan
- windows. Translation, Scale, Rotation, and Center operations with
- objects can also be available directly in the Properties/Events
- window.
-
- - Visual support for objects representation in the Plan window.
-
- - Visual support for a user-defined object hierarchy in the Scene
- Tree window.
-
- - Visual support for a connection between objects through output
- and input events in the Routing Diagram window.
-
- - The ability to create live video demonstrations of scenes
- created with ISA by recording actions with AVI Recorder.
-
- - Characters gallery makes the Internet Scene Assembler ideal for
- creating scenes including human forms with support for motion.
-
- - Capability of choosing the scene landscape from a set of
- pre-defined landscapes. You can use any ISA object or ready VRML
- scene as the scene environment (see Tools>Options>Set
- Environment) to any newly created scene you are editing.
-
- - The Samples folder includes the simplest examples that provide
- a simple way to learn how
- to use ISA.
-
- - You can cut or copy an object onto the clipboard and paste it
- into another place in your scene.
-
- - While creating, editing, and assembling your scene, you can
- move the camera to a position, suitable for viewing object, by
- clicking the only button.
-
- - Easy posting of VRML scenes on your Web page.

- and installs all necessary software components along with content
- libraries. To install ISA:
-
- - Start Windows.
- - Run the setup program received from ParallelGraphics or simply
- click Setup.exe from the root directory of the CD-ROM. An ISA
- Setup splash screen appears.
- - Follow setup instructions.
- - To start the program, click the Start button, point to
- Programs, point to ParallelGraphics, and then click Internet
- Scene Assembler.
-
-
- IV. Removing ISA
- ================
-
- To remove the ISA program:
-
- 1. Click the Start button, and then point to Settings.
- 2. Click Control Panel, and then double click the Add/Remove
- Programs icon.
- 3. In the dialog box select Internet Scene Assembler and click the
- Add/Remove button.
- 4. Click Yes if you want to remove the ISA installation
- completely. Click No if you decided to keep ISA.
-
- Notes:
- ╖ The Unwise program deletes all the standard ISA components,
- standard gallery files and registry entries. You must manually
- remove any shortcuts to ISA you have created elsewhere.
-
- ╖ The Unwise program does not delete the elements which you
- created by yourself in any gallery. The corresponding gallery
- folders are also not deleted. You may use them later with the
